![]() ![]() The fit and finish of the gun are really quite excellent, looks to be a well made and designed weapon. But now that I have shot it, with some rather hot shooting Rangers, it is not all that bad, definitely not an all day range gun, but good for a few defensive rounds. I was a bit concerned going with the 380 as I had heard it was a beast to shoot. Tiny but effective, accuracy seems adequate for a short range defensive weapon for NPE use. Overall, I am very pleased with this little pea shooter. I may be adding a Boraii kydex trigger guard down the road, looks like it will do what I want and the motion of drawing appears to be similar to drawing one of my Spyderco or Emerson waved knives, so that should be a non issue. All my shots today were in the 3 to 5 yard range, very concerning.Īt this time, I have a Seecamp pocket holster and a Mika Pocket Holster that will serve me well. I'll rule out the Precision One/XTP's at a later date. Whether this occurred with the Precision One or Rangers, I have no clue, but the Rangers are no longer under consideration. I guess I’ll have to get it out to see if it. I’m not quite sure if the Inox is a US gun or an Italian gun. Wasn’t able to date the Italian guns, the 92SB, the 92SB Type M, 92 SB Compact, 92F, and surprisingly, a 92 FS Inox. I'll attach a picture of the target, some of the holes were already on the target from another shooter, but all the keyholing was from the Seecamp. Nice, thanks Was able to date most of my Beretta collection. One thing I noticed as I was taking down the target that there was considerable keyholing happening. I think between these four ammo choices, I should find something that should work for me. I'll go out to the range next week with the Silvertips and some Federal HST's. Midway has the Winchester Silvertips on clearance and I have a case of those coming, expecting arrival later this week. I think I am going to rule out the Rangers for this gun and use them in the G42 and Kahr P380 going forward. The Rangers, on the other hand, had 3 of these failures to feed on each magazine. I had to tap the slide ever so slightly on the rearward end to get it to go into battery, but I am attributing this to the chamber getting a bit dirty. The Precision Ones ran flawlessly for the first 3 mags, then I experienced a fail to feed on the initial chambering of the mag. The last mag of Rangers, I loaded to 6 plus 1. I alternated mags, first 6 rounds of Precision One, then 6 rounds of Rangers. I did experience a bit of pinch in the web between my thumb and forefinger, not hammer or slide bite, but just from the recoil. The Rangers were definitely more stout, about like shooting some hot 357 Mags through an Airweight snubby, so really not all that bad. I shot some standard pressure ammo, 24 rounds of Precision One 90 grain XTP and 25 rounds of Winchester Ranger T 95 grain. It is sure a stout shooter, but nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Just had a chance to run my 380 at the range this afternoon. I hope you don't mind, but I thought I'd add to your thread here. ![]()
